Jaipur. A special series of adventure tourism will be started in the sandy beaches of Rajasthan. The government will promote eco-tourism, film tourism, marriage, tribal, craft and cuisine tourism to attract domestic and foreign tourists visiting the state to see the desert.
Tourists will be attracted towards religious tourism.The government will also explore the possibilities of night tourism as the soil in the desert becomes hot soon. In the new tourism policy of the state government, provision has been made to introduce domestic and foreign tourists from the sea and sand as well as tourism and religious places in the country and abroad.The policy assumes that tourism industry is full of possibilities due to the state’s desert, serene environment and connectivity with states like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana and Punjab. Availability of skilled and cheap human labor is also plentiful along with land in the state. State Tourism Secretary Alok Gupta believes that the new tourism policy of the state, released two days ago, is a millstone to attract domestic and foreign tourists. The new tourism policy aims to identify a village and cluster of villages in each district, which will be developed as a special heritage village or craft village.
Former Tourism Minister Vishvendra Singh says that sandy dhore, hilly terrain, rivers, forests, historical heritage and weather diversity in the state have the potential to tie tourists year round. The new policy explores investment, entrepreneurship and revenue prospects on this basis.

The government has decided that the major monuments of the state will be developed as iconic monuments. Many types of exemptions will also be given to those who set up hotels and resorts in the state, including land allocation, registration. This will increase employment opportunities in the state as well as create employment opportunities.
